The Youngish Professionals Committee (YPC) was started by a group of individuals in Marshall to develop support opportunities that inspire action, promote engagement, and unlock opportunity for their greater community.
Despite its small stature, Marshall has a plethora of educated, talented, and world-travelled professionals who call it home. No matter what brought them here – family, work, school – they all share a common belief in the power of community, and an equally common desire to make their little town the best place possible to live, work, and play.

The goal of the YPC is to make Marshall THE small town in Southwest Michigan for youngish professionals to develop and hone their professional and technical skills, to collaborate, to start and grow a business, to celebrate risk and reward, and to feel personally and socially fulfilled.
So…you might be thinking to yourself, “Who is considered a Youngish Professional?” Well, here you go!
